A quick note to me from Charles Payne
Charles Payne, pictured on the left, as seen in one of his many appearances on the Glenn Beck Show.
Last Friday, Glenn did a show based upon Mr. Payne's life and hosted dozens of conservative black Americans. I sent an email of thanks to Mr. Payne. That email and his response follows.
Jeff's email: "Hello Mr. Payne,
I've always enjoyed hearing your opinions on Fox News.
The show that was triggered by your life's experiences on the Glenn Beck Show was excellent. Thank you for taking the time to share with everyone.
Growing up as a brainy white kid in St. Louis, I also experienced being ostracized for wanting to excel. I didn't have it as rough as you did, but I did experience similar confusion as to why I should 'dumb myself down.'
Your sharing helped me to understand a little bit more about what happens in our society.
I wish that I was as successful as you are! Continue being PROUD, active in the news, and by all means... continue to share your stories.
Best regards,
Mr. Jeff Bales"
Mr. Payne's response email: "Jeff this is a wonderful email thanks a lot I really appreciate it a lot. CP"
Mr. Payne voted for Obama in the last Presidential election, since McCain wasn't a conservative. Mr. Payne is appalled at the way that Obama has performed and speaks on Fox News on many different programs.
